2026 ~A new year of Joyful Music
Fresh from celebrating our fortieth anniversary, the Choral Society will begin their 2026 programme on March 28th with a joyful spring concert, including Vivaldi’s brilliant Gloria and the Magnificat by CPE Bach, the most talented son of the more famous JS Bach.
The summer concert will celebrate the sea in a programme including Charles Stanford’s Songs of the Fleet, while in December, looking forward to Christmas, we will present music by the French baroque composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier, including his delightful Messe de Minuit which combines traditional carols with the standard words of the Mass.
Tickets for each concert will go on sale at least six weeks before the event and can be booked here.
